Training Classes

Our Group Classes

This is not another group training experience where you are one of 30 or 40 people. Providing a quality group training experience is coaching and personalising exercises to suit a client’s posture and movement.

Boxing Classes

Boxing classes are for everyone, the person looking to improve their overall body fat and conditioning, and for the individual looking to release a stressful day at work. Our Authentic Health gym classes are controlled giving us time to teach you the skills in how to throw a punch, while also incorporating other movement like bodyweight exercises, core work, and plyometrics to incorporate the whole body to assist with your fat loss goals.

Strength Classes

Our strength training classes are highly individualised, at Authentic Health we wanted to design a class that was progressive in nature allowing each individual to be challenged at a level personal to them. Providing for the individual who needs to improve their foundational movement takes careful consideration and we wanted to do it in a way that doesn’t hold  back the individual that can perform complex movements like the squat and deadlift.

For that reason we use the world class movement assessment known as the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) to measure a person’s individual’s movement quality. By keeping our class sizes to a maximum of 8 and using the data from the assessment we can oversee each person to perform the appropriate exercises and have you moving, feeling, and looking your best.

HIIT Classes

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a highly popular class aimed at increasing your aerobic capacity, decreasing your body fat, and working up a sweat. This class is working intervals anywhere from 30 seconds up to a cluster of intervals for up to 4 minutes. Before adding this class to your schedule we recommend having some sort of low intensity aerobic base from which you can build on to avoid burn-out, and/or fatigue. We also recommend for best results using this class 1-2 times per week in conjunction with your preferred strength training, and steady state cardio.
