Thomas Bell - Personal Trainer | Health & Wellness Coach

Originally from London and now permanently based in Melbourne, I’ve always had a strong passion for health, fitness, and personal growth. My journey into fitness began during the COVID lockdowns when I was 14 years old and started struggling with my own health and weight. Training quickly became more than just exercise — it became something that improved my confidence, mindset, discipline, and overall wellbeing. That experience is a big part of why I became a coach today.

Over the years, my passion for training evolved into a career where I now have the opportunity to educate, motivate, and support others through their own health and fitness journey.

My coaching philosophy is built around consistency, confidence, and creating sustainable habits that fit into real life. I believe fitness should improve your lifestyle — not take it over. Whether someone is completely new to the gym or looking to take their training further, my goal is to create an environment where clients feel supported, comfortable, and confident in themselves.

I focus heavily on movement quality, building strong foundations, and helping clients enjoy training rather than fear it. I believe long-term success comes from balancing training, nutrition, recovery, and mindset in a way that is realistic and sustainable. Everyone starts somewhere, and I enjoy helping people realise they are capable of far more than they think.

My coaching style is energetic, approachable, and supportive, while still helping clients stay accountable to their goals. I pride myself on building genuine relationships with clients and creating a positive environment where people can challenge themselves, grow in confidence, and feel proud of the progress they’re making both physically and mentally.

Outside of the gym, I’ve always enjoyed sport and staying active. Basketball has been a big part of my life over the years, and I also hold a Basketball England Table Officiating qualification. When I’m not coaching or training, you’ll usually find me listening to music, collecting records, continuing to learn more about health and performance, or staying active outdoors.

What I Love Most About Coaching

The most rewarding part of coaching is seeing people build confidence in themselves and achieve things they once thought were impossible. Whether it’s helping someone feel healthier, stronger, more energetic, or simply more comfortable in their own skin, being part of that journey is what motivates me every day.
